The guy was honest with me about the fix and said it might work or it might be an extremely temporary fix. I was willing to try it and it has lasted through the winter. This is a wonderful company and very nice people. I would recommend them to anyone.

Spot tuckpointing was done on a century old house. Old mortar was scraped clean and new mortar was neatly installed in all areas where it was indicated. Efforts to match existing mortar was appreciated. All work expertly performed. Owner was prompt in returning call, polite and knowledgeable. Work was completed as specified and expertly done. Area was left spotlessly clean and additional sealing done as promised.

They came out and did an estimate to tuckpoint our two-flat and garage. Their price was substantially lower than that of any other company at which we looked. The estimate was delivered in a professional and timely manner. We plan to use them when we decide to embark on tuckpointing.

I was very pleased. Although at first no one immediatly returned my call for an estimate, i was pleasantly surprised when Frank later called saying he was outside my house and could give an estimate right then. After that, the work was performed on time (even the week before they had initially said it would be), and the quality seems very good. Their prices were a bit higher than others, but overall i am very happy with the results.

Frank was extremely helpful in looking for, and helping us resolve our problem. I had previously spoken with other tuckpointing companies who either said they couldn't help, or recommended replacing the entire brick face (this seemed ridiculous to me--on a 10 year old building!). Galewood was willing to do the work, and their work definitely made a difference. The workmen were polite and on time.
